with the rise of china and india as major economic forces in the future, rising oil prices will always be a feature of our economy. There is plenty of oil to go around, speaking to an oil specialist she says that oil could last for hundreds of years. However, uncertainty will always keep the price high. Having said this, the government should help by cutting fuel tax to offset the rise in the price of crude oil. To state that there is nothing they can do is utter nonsense.

Why do you think Im on more than £5 an hour?

I work 48.5 hours a week basic.

And no I dont have a tranny van (I wish I did). TheKingCY has one.

I was referring to myself!   Cheesy

So for someone, such as myself, on that wage, I have to work 4 hours to pay for the petrol for a 200 mile round trip to Swindon and back.   :|

Well worth it.

Fucking protest, I hope they bring the country to it's knees again.  This fucking government need to get in touch with reality.  I had to pay 102p a litre yesterday, coming back from Scotland.  Fucking disgrace - cut the tax Mr Brown.

I supported the protesters last time and will support them again if they choose to protest once more.
