Can anybody recommend any cheap places to get some trousers taken up, they are my work uniform trousers so I don't want to pay too much.

We have a tailor at work but they only come in every other Wednesday, and I missed her yesterday so now I need to wait another 2 weeks and then 2 weeks after that to get them back.

Can't you buy one of those hem tapes and iron them up?  Smiley

Thanks Eldene, I will give them a go at the weekend.

I would use the hemming tape normally but with these trousers the legs are about a foot to long so I don't want to attempt to cut them myself as I will only balls it up.

Chic Tailoring & Alterations, 120 Commercial Road. He does a good job and prices are very reasonable.

Post them to Flash. You'll probably get diamante and gold stripes for a quid

It's a new uniform supplier, I asked for long leg as I do in all trousers and these are really long, I could probably put them on over a pair of stilts and still stand on the end of them
