Swindon would have 380 pubs today if it was still one for 480 persons.  Smiley

I had to sign a legal doc on my house stating I wouldn't open it as a beer house.... in Victorian Swindon this was quite common so legal moves were put in place to prevent it happening.

Today, though you can still find the odd shibeen in Swindon if you know where to look  Wink
