I think it's recorded in November. Very disappointed when I found that out a couple of years ago - I really don't know why they can't do it live...
Because they don't pay enough for all the celebs to miss out on NYE?

I turned it on to see some weird woman singing an awful song so instantly turned it over.
Did exactly the same thing,  turned over at about 12.15 and same as you watched about 2 minutes of the woman singing,  thought this is crap, turned it off and went to bed. Only found out from Flash this morning that like you I'd already missed the best entertainment.

Friend plays session keys for Selecterrr! Smiley Did so for Spiritualized too. Lee Horsley. He wasn't there last night (or whenever it was recorded), but love a bit of Hendricksen. I'm not a huge fan of that scene but when it's done good and live, boy is it one of the few genre that will get me off my feet.

NYE always seems to be a massive disappointment so really cannot be arsed to make an effort with it any more.

Knew this one would be quiet anyway as missus has been ill all over Christmas and New Year so had a few bevvies on me own (with the dog for company) then off to bed, woke briefly to discover it was 2345, rolled over and back to sleep!

Bigger! Missed it. When I turned it on it was awful.

Vic Reeves was positively lubricated! For me he is the unfunny one in the comedy duo FWIW.

Yeah I do concur there, he makes me laugh in whatever I see him in, or hear him in (Athletico Mince podcast)
