I used to enjoy Wolfgang Wolf managing Wolfsburg. And Arsene obviously.

We had Charlie Comyn-Platt for a bit which was part of my dream niche suburb XI (We could have signed Wayne Shaw to join him and maybe claimed David Stroud too)

You're missing Jordan Lyden.  I would love to think that he lives in Liden.  Handy for Coate Water and everything.

Surely.

Bit of a stretch, this, but there's Frank ('Nobby') Newberry.  Newbury is just a small town in Swindon, after all.

Excellent work. Could we find nine players of the surname Elm to bulk out the side a bit perhaps?

There was a cricketer called Eldine Baptiste too, perhaps he has some footballing namesakes.

Sadly the stories that Man Utd were going to sign Stefan Kuntz  turned out to be false!

He could get a decent house on the bit by Snodshill roundabout.  If is teamed up with Snodgrass in a few years as he gets close to retirement, could that be tenuous enough, if the grass on the roundabout is termed as such?

The referee for Cambridge v Oldham on Saturday was Scott Oldham. Oldham won 2-1.

I've wondered in the past if Keith Stroud could do FGR, so yes?
