I blame The Apprentice/TV. They always talk loudly on speaker phone for TV purposes.

Now idiots walk around with phone at 90 degrees to gob prattling on in the same manner.

Can you listen to the radio through them?

How do you avoid ear wax on & in your equipment?

Why do people shout when on the phone now instead of talking quietly into a microphone. I don't want to know that you need to manage the customer's expectations about the service delivery issue.

You can listen to whatever you want on them.

The ones i've got are waterproof so can easy wash them after use.

I only use mine for music, i don't really tend to talk on my phone very much at all.

for those interested (John) i picked up a second pair from Lidl this weekend. Skullcandy brand 29.99 (rrp 49.99). These don't have anywhere near a good battery life but are slightly more conformable that the non-branded Amazon ones.
Happy with both, but will probably use the Skullcandy ones at work and day to day and keep the non-branded for when i travel and need the battery life and power bank.
