Good performance, deserved a more flattering scoreline but 3 points is 3 points. Impressed with Yates, Lyden, Isgrove and Hunt. Thought Woolery was poor but he took his goal well.

Canice Carroll... haha. Saw that coming!!

Nice to meet a fellow TEFer in Red Frog too!

This time 2 weeks ago I’d never have had us down as a team that would score loads and concede a few

Carlisle comms now full of praise for Swindon saying we deserved to win by more goals and that they are very impressed with our team.

Likely backtracking. Most Cumbrians I've met, while some can be a bit rough around the edges, are generally decent folk. Probs received a few complaints especially after that "backchat". It's not professional for any BBC Comms to be basically arguing with any fans. I can't see them having that prick Lumsdon on for a while.

Anyway, great win. We'd would've crumbled and lost/drew that game last season. It's refreshing that I still felt confident when we went 0-1 down. Still work to be done but things are looking good. A trip to Plymouth could be both nostalgia and make for a cracking fixture. Maybe we can convince Reg to go and have a picture next to his namesakes tower. Plus there's a nice restaurant or two on the Barbican. Been a while since I was there!

You might want to have a think about rephrasing that.

Soapy Tit Wank I'll pull him off myself if it means we get him!

That ticked a lot of boxes... comeback win in difficult circumstances with new boys putting down a marker.

Apart from a couple of poor pieces of defending against wide players we completely bossed that and on that showing were miles ahead of them in terms of quality. Should have won far more easily but a wins a win.

After he was fouled the Carroll retribution red was inevitable and is why I'm glad we didn't go back in for him.

Nice to see a decent crowd with an atmosphere and positivity in the stands, long may it continue.

Listening to Radio Cumbria in the pre match....

They think they could win by 3 goals today, we have no quality in the team apart from a very pacey forward line. They think they have way more quality all over the pitch and that we have no pace at the back.

They are also saying that Doughty is the weak link in midfield being that he has played most of his career at left back and we converted him to centre midfield, he has no pace and not a lot of quality!

Have tbey ever seen him play???

Idiots.

Well I for one am quiet happy with there synopsis of our team and individual players, makes for an interesting season doesn’t it? They may well have a different opinion now.

Just got in so not read back. First half was a pleasure to watch  despite lack of threat up front. Said at half time they would nick one and sure enough they did. Looked a good run from their player, left our defence trailing. Luckily we drew level pretty quickly. Superb header from Fryers and a well taken Woolery effort sealed the points. Looked a soft goal to concede at the death but happy with the win.

Could have scored a couple more but for some decent keeping.
As for Carroll, always was worth a card but that straight red was well deserved. Muppet.

On the whole enjoyed that, missing something up front but players generally seemed comfortable on the ball.

I'm sure that Fryers can be shown how to shepherd a winger to the outside, he got skinned twice the same way and I thought his fullback play was our only weak link today.  Great header for the goal though.

He said you're a prick.

Cheesy to be honest he asked me if i wanted him to punch me for real at the sponsors dinner when i was posing for the Yeo style photos.

On another note, Steven Pressley cried to the FA about the away dugout being moved, boo fucking hoo
