Owner wealth means nothing if they refuse to put money into the club.

Such as Cheltenham, Bristol Rovers, Scunthorpe etc

Didn't realize Salford has as much clout as that behind them.

Yeah thats pretty much how they managed to sign Rooney last season on £4k a week and a midfielder Towell from Rotherham on an alleged £8k per week already this close season.

How is Radford funding Mansfield then , given his relatively poor financial state.

The wealth includes the valuation of shares and companies owned etc.  No relationship to actual cash reserves.

The Bristol Post obviously uses Wikipedia as its source.

When I was a member of that facebook group Power was the only owner without his wealth on a particular Wikipedia page and the rabble were arguing it proved he was hiding his wealth. To prove a point that Wikipedia is pointless source material I edited the page to say he had £45m in the bank, it was like I had shown them fire!

Nice to see my work also hooked them in.

I wouldn't read too much into this. Bristol Post ran the same article last season and I asked for the source on Lee Power. They had misinterpreted the quote from the article they used as their source. It was an interview with Irish press with Lee Power and he said that if he was a striker in the modern day, then he would be valued at £45million. Judging by his Wikipedia page, I'd say he's a tad optimistic there  Grin
