Need to send some money on something other than beer before I spend it all on beer. buying dvds is always good. But I'm coming a bit stuck trying to think of anything. I got trainspotting and series one of peep show the other day, and I'm about to get the first series of the mighty boosh from play.com

Anyone suggest anyother good dvd purchases?

robert crumb is one of several "the mans" in my opinion, american splendour was an insanely good graphic novel and the film is just facking ace.

life aquatic is amazing. bill murray is also in the above category

lost in translation is just superb

sin city, constantine...both graphic novels with ace films

a very long engagement anyone? i know it's girly but it's so nice! and adurey tattou's ass is in it...man i'd love to take her out for coffee

GENTLEMEN YOU HAVE TO SEE "OLD BOY".
(it's korean and it's not porn) if u enjoy your films with a lot of sadism and action then this is the film for you. seriously i highly recommend it. i could go into it more but there's amazon etc u lazy fucks

it's not at all. it's atmospheric and just a really good watch. bill murray is superb in it. it's about what doesn't happen and the feelings as opposed to what does happen!

i should be on a different forum really shouldn't i?

Thats my point, nothing happens! Scarlett is looking fine in it and Bill is funny, but it can't hide a weak script. Stop bringing your Dads name down Sofia!

i respect your opinion but believe you a fool sir!

nah i liked it. anything with bill murray in it and something that's clearly too clever for most Tongue has my backing (it makes me looks clever when i talk about arty films)

village.....go see old boy

I've been wanting to see Old Boy for ages, was recommended by a friend, will try and borrow it at some point. I'm quite getting into Japanese cinema at the moment, watched Casshern t'other night, highly recommend that, looks stunning. Its like The Matrix, but good!

Oh, and Bennett,  Tongue
