How easy are Newport tickets to get hold of if you're not a season ticket holder?  I can't see this game (on Feb 16th) listed in the online ticket office.  Does that mean that there's a small allocation and plebs like me won't get a look in?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Reg.

Hope they lose then.  New ground, and you can't beat the thrill of international travel.

Boro away? Still think we'll be playing them on 16th. £19.80 return on the train, tempting.

The ground isn't exactly thrilling, but if like me you like to mix up an away day with something cultural....checking out the story of John Frost and Chartism in Newport, might thrill you. Apparently a new walking trail was opened in Nov 18, to commemorate the Newport Rising. Given the general dissatisfaction of the people with Parliamentary standards... it's worth reminding ourselves of some of how we got here.

The Tom Toya Lewis pub has reopened.  Smiley

Named after the hero of the 1909 Newport Dock Disaster.

In Newport? I know the UK is culturally diverse but I don't know of a large Venezuelan community in Newport, Gwent. Smiley

While watching England v Columbia on a television in an Old Town pub last summer, two females walked in who looked Hispanic. When asked if they were Columbian they said: "Fuck off. We are from Venezuela. We have HATE Columbia. It's a bit like England / Scotland rivalry. We're routing for England".
