Just ordered my tickets for Ally Pally on the 30th November. Really looking forward to that, thought the album was excellent and really like the new single.

Also seeing Coldplay 15th December and Foo Fighters 17th December, should be good couple of weeks. Cool  Cool  Cool

I just got 2 tickets for coldplay 19th december, not sure where it is tho?!?!?!

The phrase "more money than sense" springs to mind.  I'd rather burn my money than pay to watch those pricks.

I seem to be finding it harder and harder to get excited about bands. From the latest crop I'd say I quite like

The Dead 60's (alot)
The Ordinary Boys
Kaiser Chiefs

probably a few more but i cant think.

I agree Yeovil.  Very rarely does anything come along that i get excited about.  Mind you my tastes, although still wide-ranging, have changed other the last couple of years.

See I think the Kaisers are rather outstaying their welcome - not a patch on Bloc Party in my opinion.

The Ordinary Boys are cool, but alas the first album is better than the second for my money.

The Editors are decent, Bullets is out in a few weeks.

After spending ages saying Bloc Party were gonna be huge, they were huge and I got bored of the album. D'oh.

Listening to the Ordinary Boys a lot though, Danny and Whits had to put up with it on the way to Tranmere Cool

The Editors are supporting Franz apparently, they'll be good.

Got their album, looking forward to seeing them now, cheers for that KT.

Fair enough, I just like seeing live music, nothing like a good concert for a top evening out.

I take it if I had a spare ticket you wouldn't come along then? (I haven't so don't worry!!). Cheesy

why is all this retro wank popular now? it's utter shite and it all sounds pretty much the same! from from other shite like the kings of leon to the subways to the ordinary boys etc

it's just pap. it's poorly structured poop

i'm ranting so i don't have to make much sense out of this

the only bands of this type that are good are the killers and the bravery and that's only because they're BARELY in the same genre at all

wank wank wank wank
