Sat near the dugouts, Wellens said that Dunne’s baby has been taken ill. Obviously hope it’s nothing too bad.

We've looked decent on patches, Taylor pinging the ball out to the wing backs is working well. One of Mcglashens better games so far.

Main problem is up top, Adebayo is offering nothing. Can't hold the ball up, first touch isn't great, doesnt win headers. Weak link unfortunately!

Richards might be better as we seem to be getting the ball into the box a bit more.

I've seen worse so far this season.

Have to wait for that home league opener then! I'm right in seeing that Carlisle only managed to name six on the bench?

Plenty in this, harsh to be behind. Can see us turning it over to 2-1 but seemed to slump a bit after Dunne went off. Hope all is alright with personal matters. That's more important than any 3pts.  Sad

Ummm, the commentators are awful.

What can we take from the first half....

Iandolo cannot defend for toffee, useless, no idea where he is supposed to be.

McGlashan is now officially worse than Ricky Shakes - edit: end product/crossing wise.

Taylor is useless at the role he is playing.  He offers no actual protection and is dropping so deep we have four central defenders.  He still has the ability on the ball, but for me it is not in that position.

Adebayo can't hold the ball.

Conroy and Woolfenden look ok on the ball, the latter being our most dangerous forward threat when overlapping in the first 20 minutes.

Iandolo should have scored.

Wellens has a job on his hands to figure out how to get a formation out of the squad.  We are marginally the better team, but shape is all over the place  - similar to the past few weeks really.  Could easily still go on and win it, very little between the teams and Carlisle looked beatable when they were sat back in the first 20 minute period.  If they drop again, we probably should get one or two chances.

The Taylor connundrum.

I wonder, if we insist on playing this way, whether you drop him in between Nelson and Woofenden, with Conroy dropping out?  A true sweeper who we expect to be good on the ball and that is it.  Some of his passing has been good to the wide players, it's just that he has no legs for midfield and is too deep.

I hate it when PV attends matches.  Crying
Luckily they are rare! Been a lot better to watch, Taylor looks good in the holding role. Bayo and Iandolo both poor so far.

Carlisle offer no threat yet lead!

Gerrard is fatter than me.

Nobody capable of putting the ball in the back of the net for us has been the difference in the two teams.  Wellens is becoming increasingly frustrated with Adebayo.

well its looks like more of the same no matter who's our manager. Start looking at those 2 clubs at the bottom they're our main rivals.
