I logged into my Virgin account the other day and it asked if I wanted to upgrade to 200mbps for no additional cost. The only catch is I had to click a box to say I wanted it rather than being automatic.

So if you're on virgin it's worth a check.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but has anyone had any experience of getting a free wifi booster from virgin?
I have 200Mb already and can get on average 120mb on wireless.
The problem is when i'm upstairs, it just goes to shit. In my bedroom is so bad, a speed-test won't even run. I live in a new build so its not the walls.
Virgin offer to sell you boosters but i'm not willing to pay for one. Before anyone asks, no, there is no interference, the hub is as well positions as physically possible.

That’s odd as I live in an old build and I get good connection throughout the property on all floors. I did have my TiVo box upgraded to the V6 box and at the same time the engineer upgrades the Hub 2 modem to a Hub 3 which is more powerful. Might be worth checking which Hub you have.
