good listen. He talks a good game and knows what he wants.

This, I hope, stands us in good stead for next season.

good listen. He talks a good game and knows what he wants.

This, I hope, stands us in good stead for next season.

It was good to hear him acknowledge that it dawned that we could be in a bit of trouble early doors, but the little 3 game winning run helped with that.

He does mostly talk sense without too much bs, but there's a bit more too it than that. You need a bit of luck and to be in the right place at the right time.

So for example, there seemed to be a bit of a problem with Doughty, if there ever was it gets sorted and MD says he's playing the best football of his career, we have a week off so players can get a bit of a rest for the end of the campaign... Doughty promptly gets injured not even in a game.  That's just bad luck.... last season losing Preston and to a lesser extent Lancashire, finished our season.... again bad luck
