Don't get yours hopes up, I'm yet to see us beat them and I've been to every game we have played them since and including the FA Cup fixture that was live on BBC, I'm going again Saturday so that's the end of that.
Well stop going 😀 Sent from my SM-G935F

A mate of a mate is an Oxford fan, was at a wedding with him the other day
I went to a wedding with an Oxford fan a few years ago. It's one of the things that's sullied my opinion of them.. ( Seriously)

Part of being an Oxford fan is an unhealthy obsession with STFC.
I guess it came about through a sense of inferiority, Headington arriving late on the football scene, finally giving us a game 86 years after we started.
This is precisely it. Oxford had to carve out a territory for themselves when they were founded circa 1960 from an area previously occupied by Swindon and Reading. Until they came on the scene, they used to run buses from Oxford to Reading and Swindon on match days. Their club identity is coloured by a need to show that they're equals now, and it explains perfectly why they focus on local rivalry more than anyone else.

They're alright Oxford fans. We used to play friendlies against them every year and they're a good bunch. But yeah... it definitely means a lot more to them than it does us. I guess it's been easier for us as we've (generally) had the better of them for the best part of 25+ years. Certainly in terms of league positions.
Have you actually met any of them ? Cunts

That depends. Do they have a season ticket?
What about people who choose to live in countries popular with child molesters ?

It's tempting to censor.
But I say we allow them to speak, that way it's easier for the rest of us to identify them.

He must have managed to play friendlies against them for years without actually meeting them. Impressive.

Another vote here for 'banner wankers'.
Could it not say Banana Wankers with a picture of Julian Alsop?

We've started a fundraiser for our next tifo. Should be a good one! Read about it on the olde blog: http://greatwesternreds.com/It's focussed on Remembrance Sunday which is the day after the Charlton fixture, and it just so happens that this game is televised, so we could get to do something for Remembrance Sunday on national TV.

"Football League Trophy for Football League Teams"
Il chuck in money for this banner for the Oxford game. A derby game will already have media attention why not build on it.
