Recommend me a video converter app

I have an android phone that records video in mp4 format but I want an app that can convert to other formats e.g. mpg or 3gp etc. I also would hope that it can compress file sizes too. I have installed and uninstalled about half a dozen now that have not been any good. Can anyone recommend an app?

If you want to convert video to other formats, you need to use a PC and not a mobile app. You need Handbrake.
