What are the rules governing the prices charged to away fans vs those charged to fans of the home club?  I ask because my boys have been banging on about going to an away game for weeks and I expect I'll cave in - possibly next week.

Peterborough are charging the following prices for their own fans:

London Road Terrace
£18 for Adults
£12 for Seniors (60+)
£12 for 18-21s
£8 for Juniors Under 18
£11 for Adults FlexiPosh Member
£5 for Seniors (60+) FlexiPosh Member

Main Stand
£23 for Adults
£14 for Seniors (60+)
£14 for 18-21s
£10 for Juniors Under 18
£16 for Adults FlexiPosh Member
£7 for Seniors (60+) FlexiPosh Member

Motorpoint Stand
£20 for Adults
£13 for Seniors (60+)
£13 for 18-21s
£5 for Juniors Under 18
FREE for Under 10s*
£13 for Adults FlexiPosh Member
£6 for Seniors (60+) FlexiPosh Member

South Family Stand
£23 for Adults
£14 for Seniors (60+)
£14 for 18-21s
£5 for Juniors Under 18
FREE for Under 10s*
£46 for a Family Ticket (2 adults + 2 Under 18s)
£16 for Adults FlexiPosh Member
£7 for Seniors (60+) FlexiPosh Member

But for our fans, you pay the following prices:

Adult - £23
Senior O60 - £14
Under 21 - £14
Under 18 - £10
Carer - Free

So kids can get in for free if they're supporting Peterborough, but for a minimum of £10 if they're supporting Swindon.

I'm sure we're no angels when it comes to pricing ourselves.  Just surprises me that clubs are allowed to discriminate on price in this way and favour their own supporters.

What are the rules (if any)?

And what in God's name is a 'FlexiPosh Member'?

I'm pretty sure the rules are that you're supposed to charge away fans the same for the equivalent view/facilities. I guess we're in the Main Stand so naturally they're the highest prices with no freebies for your nippers and a tenner is harsh. If I were you I'd try phoning them to see if they'll do anything for you. I very much doubt it but if you don't ask and all that?!

I'm going next week. Looking forward to this, not been to an away game for ages!

Peterborough have now shipped 7 goals in their last two games without reply, and we've scored 7 goals in our last two games.

Looking forward to it Smiley
