Hockaday gets all his idioms wrong.

Didn't he say something like Gillingham were organised like a house on fire or something Cheesy  Not only does that make no sense but how many of them know what a house even is?
I can't believe it.. Even Reg is happy. Well done boys  Yay

Wasn't expecting a clean sheet so that's a bonus.

Hopefully we can take the confidence of this result into the next two games & pick up two positive results

Whoever would have thought that a team which has now conceded 3 in 6 away games would ever keep a clean sheet? Remarkable.

We've had 4 clean sheets this season, 2 have been without Branco...

BBC match report:

Quote
Swindon failed to score for a third consecutive game as they drew at promotion-chasing Gillingham.

Quote
John Egan also went close for the Gills when he fired wide but Swindon held on to avoid a third 1-0 defeat in a row.

That's what I thought.

BBC Radio Kent wrote that one up.

No mention of the Pikeys losing pace at the top....

Anybody who went kind enough to give us their thoughts?

Scrappy game, mainly due to the strong wind playing a big part. Hoped we'd be able to take advantage of playing with the wind in 2nd half and nick a winner but we didn't create much.

Gills didn't impress either though.

Maintained my record of not seeing us concede a goal this season! A creditable result which could have been better if some of our players had tried a bit harder ( Obika,Kasim,Robert) Whatever was said on the commentary,Gillingham were dire for a side top of the league and apart from hitting the post after a typical defensive calamity never really looked like scoring, for all their possession, pretty much a one man team,Dack although a whingeing cheat, being their only decent player. We could have nicked it at the end through Ajose and Obika.I am not Nathan's biggest fan but he was superb today and Turnbull looked more solid than apparently of late. Iandolo had a nice little 20 minutes at the end and Doughty was pretty efficient.
- Have to say again that is definitely the worst away end in the country.I said to one of the staff "they named THIS after Brian Moore?" He replied " I know,it's an insult".

A point away from home against one of the top sides.
A clean sheet.
It didn't rain.

I'd have taken that if you'd offered it to me yesterday - thank you very much  Cool

Knew someone would say that. My point being Branco has probably played a lot more than not, meaning we probably have a much better match:clean sheet ratio without him in the side
