So pleasing not to have read once in 90 minutes that our defence was 'all at sea', 'all over the place' , 'a shambles' etc.

Happy today. Football is good again.

Long interview with Seamus Brady here. http://www.newstalk.com/seamus-brady-interview
Obviously not about Town but demonstrates his past with Sherwood and history with video analysis. Makes him sound less of a technical director and more of a video clipper and analyst. Pretty quick rise so sounds motivated.

He was excellent IMO. Should be the first name on the team sheet every time.

Classic Swindon, don't really know where that came from, thought we'd see an improvement today but that it would take a few goes on the road before a win. BOOM!!! Couple of keystone cops defending moments after we went 2 up but nowhere near the chaos of recent months. Defence on the whole excellent, midfield energy levels much better, pressed well up the pitch, front two just fantastic. Gladwin almost scored a worldy hitting the post in injury team after 30 pass move. Very difficult conditions with wind and rain so showed some grit as well. Anyway for me pick up of the bunch was El-Abd, held it all together at the back when we were under the cosh, particularly towards the first half. Beeks goal great, watch the feint before he shoots to take their centre back out. Fucking over the moon, strong lager in front of the football league show tonight to celebrate!

We will be in the play offs after the Christmas fixtures at this win ratio.

Ahem. It could be that Chesterfield are really shite rather than us being brilliant just yet.

Just saw the goals on the sky sports app.

Fabulous ball by Gladwin for the first. And clinical finishes by ajose and Obika also. We looked very confident going forward.

That said, vigs also made some big saves.

He was OK...a good team performance, everybody chipped in with something. Decent game considering the conditions.
