Yes. The chairman is all about making money. He flogged Doyle in January last year when they were looking good for play-offs/promotion and sold/released/didn't off new deals to the likes of Darikwa, Roberts, Ryan plus highly-rated manager Cook in the Summer. They've been replaced largely by youngsters and Dean Saunders in the dugout. Having lived with a Chesterfield fan at uni, I can't say I'm too disappointed to see them struggling. |
