I emailed him about October (I think) last year. His wife replied saying he was sick but hoped to be back soon. That was the last anybody has heard of him as far as I know.
I can only speculate, but I fear the worst.

I believe I follow him on Twitter (@Jon_STFC_Dixon) but he's not used that since 2011. So probably doesn't help much, other than giving you his name if someone wants to go full sleuth.
