I think he plays better central, seems to read it better and has cover outside him. So partly Coops fault for not playing him there I guess but he sees what goes on in training we dont. He isn't the finished article but don't think he is good enough for a PO chasing team, yet. Better teams catch him out too often for my liking.

And what about the kick in the head Luongo got against franchise? (Don't deserve a capital f.)
That's what I'm getting at. Sky have shown plenty of league games over the years and I cannot remember a previous FL player getting done after the game by the FA. There must be an 82ers fan in the FA's disciplinary department...

So is it looking likely that it will be Ricketts, Stephens & Turnbull as the back 3 Saturday?

True enough, I seem to have a hazy record of Kasim being put in Thompson's back 3 position; but of course he's suspended too.

Not necessarily. We have Luongo, Gladwin, Swift, Toffolo and Byrne, although it's hardly a defensive looking midfield.....

Posh have scored 1 goal in their last 5 games - mebbe we wont need a defensive midfield.

The Football Ramble Podcast very correctly pointed out this week that Brendan Rogers looks (and increasingly acts) alarmingly like Mayor Quimby from The Simpsons:

Suppose if Gruffalo is fit, then Mass could play DM, but although his scan was OK, must be a doubt for Saturday.

Pretty sure Sam tweeted earlier he was in contention for Saturday. Have missed him

We would have been a lot better on the left side on Tuesday with Toffolo playing. Any update on Louis? Is he actually out for the season or is there a slim hope we might make it back in time for the play offs?

branco gets stick, warranted or otherwise, because he is the weakest defender we have, who as you say, gives away a lot of goals.not the worst weve had by any means and definitely not a scapegoat.
Has Branco given away more goals than Nathan T this season? Even if he has, he does seem to get a disproportionate amount of criticism when you compare the two. Both can be very good, and both can be liabilities. I think Nathan is best as a right-back and could do a job as a wing-back.
