Not the ideal signing but unfortunately we can't afford the ideal signing, Swansea are paying a lot of his wages so worth doing.
I wasn't too bothered when he left but he's ok, I remember when Wigan were interested for £150k a lot of people didn't think we should sell. We do need a leader.
In other news Derby have apparently said we could take Holmes on loan if we pay all his wages but we can't afford that. Would be a good idea for the red army fund to do an appeal. I'd give some money.

I'm very surprised at this one, but exactly the sort of player we need. I was always a big fan and very disappointed when he left. I imagine he's been signed with a view to playing him as a midfielder rather than a right-back, where he is supposedly more at home. I will never forget the excellent strike at home to Wrexham a couple of seasons back. We're going places!  |
