What a disappointment after 5 games.Jack Smith looks like another "chuck him in anywhere"type-Like Dukey but not as good.Thorpe (whose signing I never was excited about)has proved to be both useless and moody.Cureton whose talent seems to have clearly deserted him has looked out of sorts. The biggest disappointment for me has been Whalley-I was really thrilled by the prospect of him spraying passes and dominating games in the way that Moncur did for us but so far nothing. He's been completely anonymous in the 3 games Ive seen. The only plus is Ricky Shakes who has undoubtedly been our best signing and should now be starting every game.I only hope that they WILL come good but class players settle in quickly as a rule(i.e Parkin,O'Hanlon)

Quite agree with you there.

Cureton and Thorpe are big time charlie's who think their too good for this club.

Comyn-Platt had some good spells last night.

Shakes i am impressed with.

Smith is average.

Whalley is too much like Migz, we need a ball winner.

I wasn't impressed with Heath one bit.

Heaton looked good and the scoreline didn't reflect his performance.

Agree with Ralphy. Comyn-Platt looks a good addition. Lets hope King plays him and gets a run in the first team.

I've been impressed with Smith, much better than Duke or Nicholas. Shakes seems good, Whalley has shown potential but remember he's been ill. Nicolau seems ok, shame some of the final balls haven't been better.

Whalley is a good player, and shows it in spells....sadly I feel its the player around him not making runs or giving him options.

Whalley has a great eye for a pass, but is he unfit or just very, very slow?

He (Whalley) was the best player on the pitch apart from Fallon at Blackpool, he'll come good, trust me.

Cureton needs to find form soon, get a shot in ffs!

Thorpe should be loaned out - he needs a kick up the arse in my opinion.

Smith and Collins - jury still out.  Heath will be OK I think once he's found his feet.  Heaton seemed OK.

Shakes must play, end of.

Charlie C-p looked to have potential.

I couldn't agree more if I changed my username to "BRING BACK BUZZER", tattooed his name all over my body and periodically flashed up messages signalling my love for Summerbee on the scoreboard throughout game.

Whalley and Cureton will both come good, Whalley's lacking fitness and he's looked alright in my opinion. Cureton just needs confidence.
