Hello people please remember the football league/ fa allowed them to steal a club 70 miles away so the fa are a disgrace for letting it happen . That said they have a lovely ground and big budget and set up for progress and success in the future. However for us real football fans they are cunts with no history and do really deserve all the shit anyone can throw at them .And as for Pete winklepiss football is about the fans and their history ( good and bad ) and if you were a football fan you would understand that .franchise whatever the fuck you want but at the end of the day EVERY real football fan will remember what you did

Think Ekarot makes a good point....look at a decent club like Stockport County, currently plying their trade in the same norvern league as Oxford's original club...hopefully they'll get back. Had Milton Keynes City followed the proper path then fair play....bit like Newport who we played a few weeks back....all sorts of obstacles thrown in their way, you have to respect them. Dongs...no,... sadly a hollow fixture, we have to play it, but we don't have to like it.

There's actually a point in there somewhere? Yes we all know about how MKD came about and no one likes them but what is the point of the post exactly??

There's been a few pieces by the mainstream press over the last few years (I can think of BBC and FourFourTwo) who have done 'is it okay to like MKD yet?' articles plus the occasional love they get when the pull off a cup upset.
I suppose the original post is a loving reminder that Winkelman is the DEVIL.

Well we're playing them this afternoon, so what's wrong with a timely reminder of an episode which is a shit stain on English football.

Ok so let's all just accept it then and move on after all if it was our club that's what we would do right ost?Oh and let's all forget 1990 etc that Spurs and Man U got away with similar (sugar and amstrad and all that )so let's go happy clappy and forget Oxford shitty and ruvers kicking off with little resistance . If more people kicked up enough verbally and made our gaff intimidating it would increase the cg atmosphere and improve the match day experience for anyone over 12 anyway .Just my opinion though and don't give a shit anyway .

Yes, sad but true. Can't see it changing in the foreseeable future - apart from the occasional local derby when there is a sizeable number of noisy opposition fans present.

Half of the problem is that in the town end most people are just quite happy to chat away, no one joins in when people attempt to get something going. More booze and less chat
