I've always wanted to see a Lady Amherst pheasant...no idea who Lady Amherst was, but she's got a pheasant named after her, which will do for me. Apparently it's now considered a native bird...although numbers are small and mainly in Bedfordshire. Maybe Bedford Red, other than posting old 80's pics could bring us up to speed on the LAp.
