In terms of keeping membership levels up, it seems a nightmare to be manually collecting £1 off people each year.  Within my wifes business we have low amounts that we have to collect on a regular basis, and we use gocardless.com, it allows for monthly or annual DD and it only costs 1% so this would work out at a 1p cost.  Just thought it may help

Finally got round to joining the Trust today. Not sure whether there are any plans to engage overseas supporters, but it would at least be good to have an out-of-town member on the Trust board to represent the interests of those who can't attend on a regular basis, and perhaps help the club make some money out of us.

For starters, can anyone raise why we seem to have the worst version of Player in the whole league? That's money I've stopped paying in recent years, some of which benefits the club.

Player has very little to do with the club - the rights to it are sold en-masse by the Football League, and, far as I'm aware, clubs are then essentially gouged by Player for more cash for the various levels of support. I can only imagine we have the minimal level (which I am not arguing with, Power's trying to keep us on an even keel after all), but that is no excuse for the general shiteness of the service.

Just a basic question to those whom it may concern. I have attempted to join the Trust with the possibility, also, of arranging a donation. I successfully registered yet my membership payment was denied on the basis that I was unwilling to provide details of my mobile phone number (for various reasons). I really shouldn't have to provide such details, when I am trying to benefit our club. An e-mail addy, yes, but I do draw a line. Any enlightenment ?

Just a question regarding Player.

If it is so unreliable and costs, why don't people just listen to BBC Wiltshire Sound for free?

Yeah, surely nobody who is in BBC wilts range on a Saturday would bother with subscribing to player. Is not like they are 'value add' for anything whatsoever.

Failing the large aerial....stick a smaller one on Menwith Hill, I'm sure Uncle Sam wouldn't mind.
