OK, this is going to sound pretty sad, but......

I'm back in country next weekend and was thinking of taking my 8 year old son to his first game. I haven't been to the County Ground for over 10 years - I used to be a regular under the clock on the Stratton Bank.

Questions I have are:

1. Where is the best place to watch the game for an 8 year old ?
2. How much will it cost
3. Where is the best place to park - I will be coming from Gloucester ?

Thanks

Best for a kid in the Arkells or Nationwide as they will be able to see the game better. Its 23 adults and 9 for a kid match day.Theres parking at the cricket ground I think but I dont drive so dont pay much attention to that to be honest.

I'd say the arkells.Your son can go down to the front of the stand where all the other kids go and wait for the players to come out of the tunnel, get some autgraphs that kind of thing(I can remember the day I got my first autograph, grazioli.I was chuffed to bits Smiley ).Which you can't do in any other stand Tongue I also think its a bit more of a friendlier atmosphere in there, because theres alot more children and oldies. Its also a bit like a celebrity hang out,I had roberts and O hanlon sat behind me once Cool
thats what I think anyway!...........

i park in Tesco's.  you can cut throught to the running track from there, and there isnt much traffic when it comes to leaving post match.

Fire station is good if you are getting there before 2.20, otherwise it fills up.

aye, either there or up Shrivvy Road - usually lots of spaces outside the houses there.

Shrivvy Rd was where I used to park. Not sure where Tescos is. Will have to ask the outlaws, who have family in town.
