Look how many players are in the box when the taker does eventually touch the ball!

I love a good penalty hit with a lot of power into the roof of the net, but these look terrible when they miss the target.  Didn't Jason Puncheon miss a beauty this season for Crystal Palace?  About 5 foot wide of the goal and 5 foot high as well?
