I'm laughing, but for all the wrong reasons.

Option 1: Stay away from a town 300 miles away.
Option 2: Don't stay away and go to jail instead.

He's actually gone for option 2 - astonishing.

He will probably blame Newcastle for coming to him.

He should've got someone else's name tattooed on his face then he wouldn't have been recognised

I wasn't expecting the statement to say that.

Well I guess I judged him a bit quickly then! Assuming the media are wrong of course. Club must be pretty confident they are.

So good news!

Have the old bill made a mistake? A lack of communication perhaps?

So he was consulting with his counsel in a nightclub in Newcastle until 2:30 am.

Quote
Nile was given permission by the Club to have time off yesterday and today to consult with his legal counsel up in Newcastle ahead of his upcoming court case.

Surely this would mean an overnight stay?

Actually reading it all again it seems to me he was arrested on suspicion of breach, found not to be in breach and let go.

Presumably he informed OB he was going to be there and they didn't communicate it? Is that how bail works in this case?
