who has the ability of fielding at point? who is the next jonty rhodes? i reckon reg would have a safe pair of hands.
walrus and mex in slip, kinky tom as wicketkeeper. I think the South Coast Reds are sufficiently numerous to get up a side to play against.........

nah, actually you go in slip and let walrus go down to third man to impress the crowd with his nice hair... also, you have the experience required to rally the troops, and make any suggestions to captain boeta at mid off...

Nah....I used to field slip and you've got to spend your time watching nothing but the edge of the bat each ball.....I'll do third man and impress the crowd with my nice hair.

nice, i play for calne 1sts sometimes, same league as spye park. the tree though on the pitch is annoying! and the 3,0,0 sounds like my batting figues, but more than just two 0's.

 that tree is most useful when it's pissing it down
cracking place to play is calne, the only downside being the fact that the pitch is seperated from the pavilion by about 50 yards of tarmac if I remember? Cleaned up most of my studs anyway.
i'll always remember hitting courtney earl for 3 sixes off the last 3 balls of our u16 game a couple of years ago

thankyou, even though i was playing in that game, im thankful. he truly is a big headed knob.
Yeh, there is the tarmac between the grass and the rec club. the pitch in general isn't really that great and you cvan never tell what is going to happen on that square. consideing its in the middle of a public park, it gets walked across all the time.

hehe, after my resounding 3 at the weekend, i feel my time will be spent mostly in the Pavillion, or perfecting my leg spin...
