Has anyone used Rackspace or can recommend any other hosted Exchange solutions? They seem much of a muchness but any personal reviews would be appreciated.

Never used Exchange in my life, but I've heard stories of Rackspace's service slipping and not really being up to par anymore. Liquidweb and KnownHost are great, but I don't know whether they offer Exchange. Can it just be installed on a Windows Server?

Also, just checking WebHostingTalk and there's this offer. (Probably shit I know, but it's cheap.)

And this one as well.

We use Office 365.

A techy told me that it's not so easy to deal with if there are issues because the support is only via email. Although, we've had no issues so I can't really comment on the support Smiley

What if your issue is that you can't send email?

Good point.

I don't know, that's why we employ an IT support company Smiley

Rackspace are sorting out a quote. I'll have a look at some of the cheap options on those forums and put those forward as well.

Isn't Office 365 basically just Hotmail as far as email is concerned?

No, it's hosted exchange with webmail capabilities. We use it with Outlook.

The thing I like about office 365 is lync. Basically msn messenger with the ability to remote into a users PC.
