I have not been back to Swindon for over 5 years now, when I speak to my friends and family they never have ANYTHING to say about interesting happenings there.

Surely you guys must be able to tell me SOMETHING to say about Swindon from the last 5 years!!!!

The King's and McKenzie's got a late licence til 1 am Friday and Saturday.....and Foxies got to expand into the bit next door.

The Cross Keys, got converted into Picklejohn's.....Britains first Indian Restaurant pub..if the owners are to be believed and the Mission became the Studio.

Vadim's became Soda and kicked out its former more mature clientele in search of the yoof market, so one punter tried to burn it down.

The George got a makeover, and is not now frequented by junkies and wasters.

The Royal Oak was for a while a pub where old slappers would do a bit of naff pole dancing.......alright if (like me) you don't mind saggy tits.

Picklejohns is so crap Sad. The curry is OK but its not a pub anymore. RIP £1 a Bass Thursday night.

I was expecting the George to rule. It was closed for ages. Not that I went there before but it seemed pretty crappy to me.

My uncle used to own it but he's a bit mental and put loads of newspaper down the chimney when the business went bad

I am actually now staying close to Pattaya, about 1 1/2 hours from Bangkok (I didn't see any sense in changing my name to Pattaya Red).

Don't really like it in Pataya so much to be honest cos' it is way too sleazy for my liking. Although I do live out of town in a 4 story house on the beach (He brags).
