To be fair to him he's not had a pre-season at all so it'll take him a few games before he's really upto a level of fitness that would allow him to perform to his full ability. I hope that the fans realise this and don't get on his back immediately like they have with some of the new signings, although the fact he was such a great player for us in the past should mean people will be willing to cut him a little slack.

If he'd had had a pre season and was match fit I could understand it more, but as it is I can see a couple of sub apperances then being released. OK it wont cost any money, but its still pointless KING OUT  |

Could do a job in centre I reckon .. hes tenacious enuf!! Funny summerbee story .. back in the days when he was a youth player .. He feel up the stairs at the top of the North stand /Arkells and dropped his luckily not too hot coffe over my mum and was distraut!! Came back later with complimentary pass for the next home match (players longue etc) for my mum, dad and me! LEGEND!  Top man. |

Summerbee can play central midfield as well as on the wing and full back. But theres no point in playing him in central midfield, his best attibute by a mile is his crossing ability. What is the point of having a good crosser to two 3" midgets. |
