It's difficult because the spurs lot on the face of it seem handy and have some league experience.
But you just don't know how that'll work out with so many of them in the same team at the same time, if that's what happens of course.
Have to agree we look a bit short of goals. A confident and on form Williams doesn't worry me. It's if his head drops that does. But as importantly, in my opinion, is he's going to find it hard up top on his own, again assuming that is what we do.

Would be happy with lower mid table. Can't at the moment see who is going to score goals. Think that was our issue some of the time last year. We seemed to huff and puff lots but, for me, it was always a blessed relief rather than an expectation when we scored.
I reckon we'll see more goals from midfield with this side. Looking for Pritchard, Luongo and Mason to chip in with their fare share. Ferry scored 5 goals last season, but with 'proper' attacking midfielders i'd hope the 3 mentioned all score more than SF did. |

I'm looking forward to the day out on the train to Posh with my mates, but not the game at all. Although it is all a bit 'unknown', I don't feel even slightly confident. The build up has not been ideal (no manager), the squad doesn't look finished, and the signings we have made just seem a little bit too risky.
If nothing else, the season should be interesting, even if for all the wrong reasons.

I have little confidence for the season ahead at the moment.
Posh away is a difficult first game even if we were ready but the fact we've got an incomplete squad and no manager i fear for the result at this one.
I don't understand why there is no urgency to appoint a new manager ahead of the season and think we'll be playing catch up for the rest of the year.

One thing we should have this season is pace all over the pitch.
I can imagine some games where we piss all over some teams and then some where we get bullied and get stuffed.
Crewe have been fielding young sides for ages - we may become something similar
