I spoke to Steve Murrell re the Spurs game and he was adamant that they were bringing  their top squad down for the friendly on Tuesday, he wasn't aware that they were playing in the Asia cup or whatever it's called and said heir top names would be coming down and would be very disappointed if they didn't well Mr Murrell looks like they are taking all their top players with them. Wonder who will be coming to play for them?

Here's the link:  http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2013-14/jul/tottenham-announce-squad-for-barclays-asia-trophy.html

And Here's their Squad :

Goalkeepers
Hugo Lloris, Brad Friedel, Heurelho Gomes.

Defenders
Kyle Walker, Kyle Naughton, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Jan Vertonghen, Michael Dawson, Steven Caulker, Younes Kaboul, Daniel Rose.

Midfielders
Aaron Lennon, Andros Townsend, Gareth Bale, Tom Huddlestone, Mousa Dembele, Sandro Cordeiro, Scott Parker, Jake Livermore, Tom Carroll, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lewis Holtby.

Forwards
Clint Dempsey, Jermain Defoe, Emmanuel Adebayo

According to their website that Asia trophy thing doesnt start till the 24th.  They also have a friendly on Friday v Colchester.  Both the Swindon and Colchester games are called first team friendlies!

Go sit in the corner ye muppet.

Does anyone know if BBC wiltshire/STFC player are going to be covering the Spurs game? Or will I have to sit and stare at twitter whilst I'm working?

It will definitely be a team made up primarily of first team squad members. The only question is will the real big names play.

This is purely guesswork, but I'd go with something like:

Friedel

Naughton
Kaboul (coming back from a long injury)
Caulker
Rose

Dembele
Holtby
Sigurdsson

Lennon
Defoe
Ceballos

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night now! Should be a good evening.

I'd say your striker(s) will get plenty of shooting practice!

Looking forward to this one tomorrow! Haven't seen us since the win at Supermarine, so looking forward to seeing the new boys play, hope the Portugese lad Tijane gets some minutes as well as Pritchard and the other Spurs kids I haven't seen yet.

 Lennon, Bale, Obika

2nd half team:

Archer
