This one's from a great country and western story teller, Red Sovine. Brings back memories of sitting in the passenger seat of my dad's HGV (H reg FL10) when I was a lad, listening to music like this.

famous story, famous song
Ryan Adams is criminally underrated, one of the best singer/songwriters ever
Billy does "love" songs better than anyone else
video doesn't obviously credit him but it's Mike Waterson, ties in nicely with the Martin & Eliza Carthy video earlier in the thread
Jansch plays it better, Briggs sings it better
inspired Sean Penn's directorial debut 'The Indian Runner'
simply the greatest man to grace the earth

I think the forum only embeds a certain number of videos on a single page of a thread and I used 90% of it

Ah ok. It's a shame because the story of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air should be more easily heard, it's a street sermon.

God, I am bored. Nothing to write about football-wise, and you lot don't want to be bored with tales of me double digging my new allotment.
I do. Bring on that allotment tale-fest!
