Am I right in thinking he has been selected or on the verge of selection for the National squad?

I think on the verge.

Southgate is very good at ensuring we have cover in each position, I think we should upgrade at left back and Sessignon seems most likely, imho.

Would find no reason to disagree with that really. Sessegnon has proven his worth in terms of performances for quite some time now.

It's shit but it is the rule, Spurs will get their fair share of undeserved points in the same way I'm sure.  Again it is shit but we have to live with it.

With no crowds in grounds it's a good time to bring in a controversial interpretation of the handball rule. Imagine the uproar if some of these penalty decisions were given in front of 50-60K crowds.

The handball needs changing and make it just the hand and based on what the referee saw. VAR should only be used for goaline & off the ball incidents

Surely that would encourage defensive players at least to use the whole of their arm as a defensive shield knowing that a ref is going to find it very difficult to spot the ball having 100% contact with such a small part of the body with the ball travelling at very high speed in a game where players are moving very fast in free flowing football or in a crowded penalty area. You’ll have to use VAR, which in the next sentence you would like to see only used for ‘goal line & off the ball incidents‘. Add in the ‘was it deliberate’ or ‘ball to had/hand to ball’ element and you’re potentially opening up a can of worms.
