5 points will guarantee us a playoff place even if Walsall and Orient win both of their remaining games. I know people will say we don't have a chance if we do make the playoffs but all of the top teams have been very erratic this season. As long as we are in it, we have a chance.

KMAC.... Get it done.

I can't even see us scoring at the moment.

Same. How many own goals have Crewe scored this season?

Statistically that's true, but momentum, form and other factors suggest we won't make it. We've gone from a united club to a divided one that's never good for promotion.

You don't win the lottery if you don't but a ticket.

And who knows maybe, just maybe, between now and then KMAC can fix it. Either that or we could even go up on account of the others fucking things up.

Squad is looking thin now.

I think Devera at full back will work well enough at home. Byrne can play left or right back
Macca is needed in the middle to galvanise this squad.

League table looking surprisingly positive considering the run we've had.

IF we do make the playoffs I would not be surprised at all to see Lee Cox holding in the 4-5-1

Which is one reason I hold a glimmer of hope of actually going up.

With our current form we should not be in the playoff spots but we are. With our current form we should not win the playoffs either, but......

I wish I could share your optimism!! It's probably a big bonus for you that you don't actually watch the games!!

If we get promoted, it would be laughable.

I've bought lots of tickets and still haven't won the lottery.

Seriously can't see where 5 points are coming from. I often say football has a habit of surprising you, but 5 points would be the biggest surprise of them all

But brilliant. I would fucking lord it big time over the Brizzle City fans in my office... "Never in doubt" and all that

Unless the players coach gets caught speeding on the way home we aren't going to pick up any more points let alone 5...and even if we did, fucking hell we will get smashed in the play offs.

On form since he took over: 9 points from a possible 27 with a GD of -3 = 3 points from our last 3 at -1 off our goal difference.

Not great but mathematically satisfying at least.  Smiley

(pretty much out of straws here).
