This makes no sense, they are IFAs not event managers.

Financial Services are the new Rock n Roll

Apparently platforms will be in place to ensure the pitch remains in good condition

According to the staff at the Ricoh they used platforms on their pitch and we all saw how well that played out.  I was there on good Friday and the pitch was worse than when we played there.

Having been to a gig at the Ricoh, the "platform" was nothing more than some interlocking foam/plastic mats laid directly on the pitch.

So we certainly don't want that. No wonder the pitch was knackered.

I cannot see why anybody would want to hold a gig at the CG.  Is it the quality of the catering and toilet provision or the aspirational surroundings?
