Could you look at the trains Bewster? I know they don't get the greatest press but it takes more than a sprinkling to disrupt them too much. Unlike the roads. Also you only have to worry about yourself then and not your motor too.

Trains down here and along the coast are great but the trouble is to get to Swindon from here I'd have to change at least twice. Also I was bringing the family up and at £46 each it makes it a bit pricey (and almost twice as long journey time) |
