In what I believe is a first for a Swindon Town manager, he's that good he was mentioned in Friday's Coronation Street.

A character, Peter Barlow I think, started talking about brilliant footballers and Di Canio got a mention. Now Hoddle might have been mentioned by Brian Tilsley in the 80's (maybe) but there was no Town connection back then, so I think it's a Corrie/Swindon Town first.

It was about how all great footballers have a touch of arrogance. The first 2 mentioned were Cantona and di Canio.

As a corrie fan, I can confirm it was Peter Barlow talking about how all brilliant footballers had a touch of arrogance about them...he went Cantona, then Di Canio...safe to say I had a little chuckle about it!

I am an aficionado of corrie. Have been since I met the missus and was coerced into watching it.
