Thompsons shot from the pass back free kick is a disgrace.  The Carlisle bloke took the ball full force in the face.  He could have killed him.

I doubt it was intentional.

Thanks for that's Manc, nice to see a few of the other chances and not just the goals. I also thought in real time that DeVita looked off side as I didn't see the rebound when it happened. Someone also mentioned we are getting more bodies in the box and on the end of good quality crosses, at the time you don't notice it so much but it's definitely noticeable watching it back.

Well in an echo of last season we've really kicked it up a gear over the holiday period again. Granted Oldham, Pompey and Carlisle offered very little but Christ we've played some good football over the last few games. Hard to ask for more than 16 goals without reply and 12 points over the last 23 days.

Here's hoping we can keep the momentum going for the rest of the season, looking at the table we're right in there now and the goal difference column is frankly bizarre. Quietly (well not that quietly) Collins now has 10 in the league and is one away from second top scorer in the division. Maybe we don't still need to search for a 20 goal man...

Could one of the gif gurus somehow get Williams' first from Saturday into a little infinite loop form? I would like to have this on the corner of my screen at all times. Seeeeexy football.
