First time I've been to B'muff, is there an away friendly pub near the ground or is it just a choice of walking up Christchurch Road (I know the area a little) and finding a pub or staying in town until near ko and getting a cab or bus?  Hmmm

Meet me and victor mildew in town mate...

The one advantage of the Colchester game being off is that I can now make this game!

Shouldn't be a problem...I remember doing that for a game in 86/87, when as now both sides were vying for promo form Div 3. Bormuff were managed by Arry, and went on to win the league. It was a festive period game, so OB had ordered all pubs within something like 2 mile radius to be shut, fortunately a knew a lad at Uni there, who's local was about 2.1m away from Dean Court, so open.

I'd imagine there may be some curfew on this game as Dorset's finest don't really like hosting the Swindon day trippers due to trouble down the years.

There is certainly no love lost between Swindon and Boremuff on the terraces and with the old bill.

I am fairly confident that I could get in the home end anyway as if asked (which I have been in the past) I will tell them I have a Somerset postcode on my drivers license and I am going with a scouser, just have to not cheer too loud when we score, which I am sure we will.

I think it is more like Reg said in that they will probably shut the pubs near the ground. Drinking in town is the answer!  Smiley

Glad I got mine yesterday. I thought the allocation was 1500, rising to 2000 if needed. That's what they gave Southampton a couple of seasons ago. I hope they don't mind a few Swindon fans in the home end then.

That was when they had the temporary stand behind the goal.
