I am the same YR. I had a fondness for them when Gazza was ace at Italia 90, and then they won the FA Cup so it kind of stuck. Also a few family members support them and used to tell me about how great they used to be.

I watched Spurs regularly when I lived in London.....saw Hoddle playing from his first few games....it was obvious he was brilliant.
Oh and John Gorman, he was crap used to wear his shorts like Chalkie, added in with the tache he looked a right mong.
I even went to the Dell when they secured the point necessary to get promotion.
But was never a fan......just like my Saturday at a match.

Used to like them around the same point as Dave, but when all the financial irregularities toss happened I went off them in a big way.
I've been starting to like them again lately, despite last seasons loan debacle, mostly I suppose because a few mates are Spurs fans.
