Didn't that Oxford fan get similar for not letting off a flare at Plymouth??
4 months seems very lenient

Fair play for getting him to court so quickly but that sentence is less than i thought he'd get.

Considering his (alleged) previous, that makes the (IMO) lenient sentence even more bizarre.

Especially given the other fella got 6 months for stopping the boat race.

Leeds, Millwall and Cardiff all prize cunts, why is anyone suprised?
Add Sunderland to that, apparently threw golf balls at Cabaye, luckily they weren't able to get any on target, a bit like their strikers.

The court heard Cawley had been drinking heavily and had already breached two previous banning orders.
Prosecutor Paul Macauley said Cawley told police he had drunk a number of cans of lager and three-quarters of a litre of vodka before arriving in Sheffield and then had a further seven to 10 pints of cider.
I wouldn't be able to walk, let alone run onto a football pitch and assault somebody, if I'd drank that amount.

Come on gents, yes he's a massive cock but 4 months in prison for shoving someone, albeit in the face, is a pretty strong sentence.

Maybe so, but the banning order didn't work as a deterrent for the horrible little cunt, so maybe banging the fucker up might.

The fact that he did it in full view of [?],000 people (can't be bothered to look up attendance figure) is going to be a factor, surely. His crime was very visible, so the punishment/deterrent was going to have to be visible as well. He's a cock and deserves every second of his time inside.

One of the reports that i've read today, says that the court has yet to decide if it will issue a 5 year banning order. With his scant regard for previous banning orders and now a conviction, you would have thought that they would have wanted to send a tougher message.

I always thought a banning order also required the person to report to his local police station at kick-off time to prove he aint at a game
