Says takes 30mins here but think the tram stop in Bury is about 15 mins walk from the ground so it will be tight for sure.

Argh mate in Manchester wants me to go up and incorporate watching this and celebrating his birthday with him Hmmm...

Worth an at least 9 hour train journey? Hmmmm.

Get it done. Even if the football ain't great Manchester is a cracking night out. You're only young once.

Think I'm better aiming for 1755 train at Piccadilly from the previous posts. Don't think her indoors will be too impressed but that's life!

Between 40 and 45 minutes and they run every 12 minutes from Bury to Piccadilly.

Really - that long?
Thought it was less time than that.

From Memory there a pub on the main road downhill from the ground where I once spent about 10 minutes trying to reverse into a parking space whilst a crowd of town fans watched on and mocked me with choruses of clown music.

Can't for the life of me remember the name of it or find it on google though

I have booked a taxi from outside the ground at the end of the game back to Piccadilly so if Hitchin Red or anybody else wants to share the cost drop me a PM with your mobile number and will text tomorrow.

Was quoted about £20 and half hour journey.
