Apple maps vs googles maps

To be fair Apple maps (satellite view) are more up to date than google maps (2011 vs 2006)... For my home anyways...

Aplle have bought a good source of data in TomTom, and have integrated the satnav. No doubt it will become a good product in time. But to release what they have is shambolic, very unusual for Apple. If I had Googlemaps and they withdrew it to release that on me I'd be nightly pissed off.

Well I would if I used maps much, which I don't.

The only time I actually used maps is to find my way home from a girls house in the morning.

Google maps worked fine, haven't used Apple's maps for it yet. we shall see.

The beer scooter is a magical thing...as is the beer jacket.  Beer goggles, less so (although they helped me over the years!).
