There arent any bushes inside the gym? that would be pretty ridiculous and make no sense.

I don't know, a lot of indoor places have either real or fake plants.

Our office, for example, has fake plants scattered about. Why? I have absolutely no idea!

A cheese plant perhaps?

If so, Paolo would insist on it being Mozzarella.]

Manager Paolo Di Canio expects James Collins to be available for Saturday's home game with Leyton Orient #STFC

The manager is waiting on the fitness of wingers Gary Roberts and Matt Ritchie as he looks to extend his options out wide #STFC

But if he's fit I thought this weekend he would be needed by Ireland U21s

Or maybe it's not this weekend he's been called up for

on a serious note, heavier training is likely to cause the odd injury and is probably just an unfortunate effect of our increased fitness

or something

Ive written rib injury 4 times on this bloody forum.

Anyway.  U21's play tonight.  I'm guessing he wasn't deemed fit enough to train with their squad for a game tonight and thus he was allowed to stay with us.  In the interim period his injury has lessened, probably enough for a light session today and a full session tomorrow therefore he can take his place in the town team on Saturday if his services are called upon.

Perhaps if he is fit he will then have to travel after the games to join the U21 squad in Italy for the game on the 10th.

Has that cleared that up?

I beleive when a player is called up for an international match the players fitness is judged at the squad get together stage normally so even if there is a chance the player could be fit in time for the game they don't often call them up in case the injury worsenes leaving their relative club physios to do the job rather than the internatinal physio.

This is more relevant in the U21s and U19 rather than the full national side, and then only if the player is considered as an important member of the team at full international level e.g Rooney for England would he be allowed to join the squad while carrying an injury.
