I didn't go or see the highlights for Stoke, was Wes wholly to blame for any of those goals?
I was thinking the same actually. The excitement of winning overshadowed the fact we conceded 3 goals. However cup games are always a bit different, so can we bring that into the equation? Messed up our goal difference as well. Franchise go above us. Will be interesting to see if any interviews take place after the match. I wouldn't be at all surprised if nobody speaks.

Perhaps Wes was expecting a move - and it got vetoed
Perhaps I'm going to catch a cold next Thursday.

Hopefully Paolo Di Canio will praise Wes Foderingham's reaction after he was subbed. Hopefully he was after that kind of reaction from the keeper.
Di Canio would have reacted the same as a player if he was subbed after 20 minutes. I hope he doesn't forget that in the eventual aftermath... [/quote ] Good post Norway. Didn't look at it like that but he could well react in this way. Hope so !

Wes' substitution is down to nothing more than his poor (yet oddly brief) performance today. I hope we don't spend too much time conjuring up conspiracies.

Disappointed by the result, the scoreline and in PDC. Now hoping for Wes to be reinstated on Wednesday and a backlash against the yellow scum.

The defeat at least stops the stupid shit about winning the league at a canter. Surprised it was such a heavy defeat, but these things happen.
But the result is a side show of events, gutted its happened. Again

Not wanting to defend the substitution, but why is Wes absolved of all responsibility?
